NEXGEN is looking for an Executive Assistant with 5 years of experience, who is ready to build an exciting career in a dynamic software company in Sacramento, CA.

    Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO provides executive assistance in business development, sales, project delivery and administrative responsibilities. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the President. The Executive Assistant will help manage and organize the President’s schedules and responsibilities. Will be accompanying the President to some client visits and meetings. Significant growth in opportunities and compensation based on candidate’s performances. This is full time position based out of our Sacramento, CA office. This is not a remote position.

    Compensation: $60,000/yr - $65,000/yr plus depending on qualifications and experiences. Annual bonuses based on performances. 


    JOB DUTIES:

    Executive Support

    • Assists the President/CEO with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments; managing employee timesheets/payroll; completing expense reports; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
    • Communicates with the general team on the President/CEO’s behalf and coordinates logistics with high-level meetings both internally and externally.

    Business Development/Sales

    • Work on proposals responding to clients Request For Proposals and sales assignments directly with the President and the business development team.
    • Support the President’s remote and in person software demonstration
    • Configure and set up software demonstration site for client presentations

    Project Delivery Support

    • Assist the President in project management responsibilities
    • Assist in configuration of the software to meet client requirements

    Client Account Management Support

    • Assist the President in client account management responsibilities
    • Communicate with clients on client account management


    EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2-5 years previous sales experience preferred, bonus points if you have software sales experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated
    • Excellent time management abilities
    • Technical aptitude
    • Proactive personality driven to connect on a personal level with customers while identifying expansion opportunities
    • Ability to identify customer needs and match them with available products and services
    • Willing to work as a team player, helping others achieve success
    • Strong ability to collaborate with internal team members while serving as the customer’s central point of contact
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Understanding of customer centric selling and sales process is a plus
    • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents/workflow diagrams
    • Ability to creatively address concerns or present solutions on the spot

    Experience & Education

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
    • 2 - 5 plus years providing support for upper-level management
