Top Accounting Executive provides technical and operational leadership across accounting functions. Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Being a Top Accounting Executive operationalizes accounting systems and processes to deliver continuous improvements. Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Additionally, Top Accounting Executive establishes internal auditing processes and coordinates external audits. Uses in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and best practices to develop accounting professionals. May require a master's degree in accounting or finance. May require Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to top management. The Top Accounting Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. What will you do in this role?
As an Executive Function Specialist, you will engage in one-on-one remote coaching with students to strengthen their executive functioning skills. You will evaluate their initial executive function skills, match with an appropriate coach, and guide them through regular sessions. You'll also facilitate Family Team Meetings to celebrate progress, identify new goals, and assign responsibilities.
What are you going to be held accountable for?
You will be held accountable for the successful development of your students' executive function skills, their progress, and the effectiveness of the interventions you design. You are also responsible for maintaining open and clear communication with the students, their families, and your team members.
What will your day look like?
Your day will primarily consist of remote coaching sessions with students, reviewing their progress, developing and updating coaching strategies, and documenting their progress. In addition, you'll collaborate with team members, participate in administrative tasks, and engage in professional development. Many sessions will be in afternoon and evening ( 3pm -9pm PST) and a 4 hour window on the weekend either Saturday or Sunday between (9am- 6pm PST). We also expect consistent attendance at our Team Meeting from 9am-10am every Tuesday morning. Ultimately, we are targeting candidates who wish to move into more of a full-time position.

In a previous role, you may have been involved in special education or coaching, where you provided direct services to students with diverse learning needs. You might have also been responsible for creating individualized learning plans, reading and analyzing SPED documents, and tracking student progress.

Candidates must meet the minimum degree qualifications as detailed below, or the equivalent. Equivalency decisions are made based on a combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.
Education: Master’s degree in the field of Special Education; or the equivalent
Credential (one required):
Preferred Experience: A minimum of three years of teaching and/or coaching experience.
