Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring precise coding to general ledger accounts, programs, and cost centers.
• Review and approve expense reports in system for accurate financial tracking.
• Reconcile vendor statements to maintain strong financial relationships.
• Monitor accounts for timely payment of outstanding invoices, proactively resolving discrepancies with vendors.
• Respond to internal inquiries and teams, fostering effective communication.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and handle ad hoc requests and projects as needed.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Possess a basic understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting processes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various accounting systems. Intermediate excel.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workloads, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.

Annual Salary: $60k-$72k
