Account Manager
Must live in NY Tri-state area or Los Angles so can work hybrid out of LA or NYC offices.
Summary:
The Account Manager is on the account management team responsible for the planning and implementation of OOH client strategies from initial brief to post campaign analysis. The ideal candidate will help to meet critical path deadlines and ensure effective client service.
Candidates will have an understanding of account handling, the overall sector, and industry. They will be a confident communicator both internally and externally and be able to use their own initiative to identify new ways of working with their clients to improve our offering while actively developing business.
Essential Responsibilities:
● Involved in the overall communication, planning, and implementation process to provide insightful communication plans for clients.
● Help develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective client service, proactive problem solving and the successful execution of all facets of account management with clients, agencies and media owners. Help junior staff work toward their professional goals.
● Provide client service for existing accounts including: negotiating schedules and rates, monitoring schedule performance and provide planning costs and post buy analysis.
● Work with cross agency teams to promote clients' interests with strategically important media owners.
● Provide the opportunity for team members to be involved at client meetings.
● Supervise work of jr team members, in terms of its quality, accuracy, insightfulness and innovation.
● Present market updates and insight to clients and agencies.
● Work with Associate Director and senior team members to develop and adapt servicing to meet and exceed client and agency needs, looking for ways to proactively grow the business.
● Identify potential client issues and work with team to develop solutions Ensure planning process is being adhered to, utilizing industry tools and internal tools effectively.
● Perform competitive analysis and post campaign analysis.
Job Specifications:
● Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience within either an OOH agency, or full service media agency.
● OOH experience across all environments.
● Client knowledge - also client's market and competitors information.
● Ability to maintain and grow client relationships through the delivery of superior customer service.
● Previous experience in client facing role and account management.
● ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop software, specifically: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
● Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines.
● Strong organizational and analytical skills.
● ·Supportive team player yet confident to work under own initiative.
