Position: Toolmaker - All Around Machinist

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker with all-around machining skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in conventional machining techniques including milling, turning, grinding, and assembly. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment and provides a competitive salary that reflects the candidate's experience and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Operate conventional machining equipment for milling, turning, and grinding tasks
- Perform precision assembly of parts and tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality tools and parts
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Work closely with the engineering and design teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker or Machinist with strong skills in conventional machining
- Proficient in milling, turning, grinding, and assembly processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, with availability for overtime on Fridays as needed
