CNC Machinist

Responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating multi-axis CNC milling machine centers and CNC mill-turn centers to fabricate parts and components while maintaining quality, production, and safety standards

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Use blueprints including GD&T and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished parts
• Set up and operate machine tool to make original parts, tools, mechanisms, and devices
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines
• Understand feeds, speeds, tooling, and operational sequences
• Perform required metrology inspections and report issues
• Maintain machines and monitor machines for defects and repair if necessary

Qualifications/skills:

· 3 years of experience in CNC Machining

· Ability to read and interpret product drawings and GD&T

· Knowledge of shop math, including geometry and conversions

· Extensive knowledge of G and M codes

· Detailed knowledge of measuring techniques and metrology equipment

· Ability to perform First Article, In Process, and Final Inspections
