Malnove Inc., a progressive, nationwide folding carton manufacturer, seeks a 3rd shift Die Cutting Operator for our Omaha, Ne facility. We have an immediate opportunity for a high caliber Operator who has the passion and enthusiasm to drive results.

Job Details: The Die Cutting Operator is responsible for performing make-readies and safely operating a die cutting press with blanking. This position must also ensure that quality control, waste minimization, and good housekeeping standards are maintained. The Operator will also troubleshoot to ensure that production speeds are maximized.

The Ideal candidate must have the ability to:

• Operate a high speed die cutter safely and efficiently to produce folding cartons that match customer specifications by
• Operating a large format Flatbed Die Cutting press with Blanking
• Safely and efficiently perform all Make Ready functions to prepare the job for production
• Effectively troubleshoot to ensure optimum production speeds to meet standards
• Responsible for consistent quality reproduction to meet customer expectation, following all departmental Die Cutting quality procedures
• Safe operation of varied material handling equipment
• Accurately enter production data into electronic reporting system
• Accurately enter data into electronic quality systems
• Responsible for proper housekeeping and tool storage at workstation and within the department
• Inform and communicate all pertinent job specific information
• Responsible to perform die cutter preventive maintenance procedures following specified maintenance works instructions.

Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, food safety, OSHA, etc. to ensure a safe, secure working environment that meets the company’s goals and achieves customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
• 2 years of experience operating large format die cutters,(Bobst preferred)
• Technical knowledge of flatbed die cutting

Starting Hourly Pay: $24-30, dependent on relevant experience

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
