Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor oversees skilled workers responsible for constructing, maintaining, modifying, and calibrating machine shop tools, dies, prototypes, jigs, fixtures and molds. Supervises the set up and operation of various lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines used to produce tools. Being a Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor completes high level tool development work. Ensures jobs are completed correctly and on time. Additionally, Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Tool & Die Machinist
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts - though overtime may be required occasionally, as an 8-hour shift on Saturdays.
Day Shift: 7 AM to 3 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3 PM to 11 PM
Pay Rate: $18.76 - $26.95

Position Overview:
Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking Tool & Die Machinists to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform milling, deburring, sawing, and sanding.
Will change dies and support tooling at CNC Machines.
Reading blueprints or job order for product specifications.
Document results of machined tooling.
Load and unload cutting tools.
Prepare dies/support tools as needed.
Complete paperwork as needed for each job and maintain paperwork in an orderly fashion.
Transport dies.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Canton Drop Forge is a Drug-Free Workplace. Must be willing to undergo and pass a drug test if hired - including hair follicle testing.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with CNC and Machine set-up.
Experience with Manual machining.
Must be able to read and perform math calculations.
Ability to use basic handheld measuring tools.
Experience reading and interpreting drawings.
The ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize their importance is required.
Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail.
