The basic function of the Tool Crib Attendant is to handle all request for tools and tooling for production jobs from the crib and to maintain inventory of the necessary perishable tools. You need to be detailed oriented, highly organized, creative, flexible and a great team player.

Education and/or Experience:

• A minimum of two years in the shop or manufacturing area.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all request made at the crib window.
• To understand all terminology of tools etc. in this field.
• To review and pull all tools from setup sheets.
• To monitor and order perishable tooling as needed.
• To set tools for the CNC machining Centers.
• Standard Working Requirements:
• The physical ability to stand, reach, lift, and concentrate on the job at hand.
• Must have adequate vision
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Other Requirements:

• Any job, task, or function within your ability requested to do by management.

Special Requirements:

• Must have good people skills. An in-depth knowledge of all the tools and fixtures related to aerospace machining industry.
