Description

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-staging the set-ups of tooling as directed for several departments: assembling job kits for each specific job.
• Supporting production by ensuring back-up tooling is maintained for high running operations.
• Maintaining stock levels of tooling
• Maintaining an organized and clean work environment in respect to tooling cabinets, fixtures, and the general work area
• Providing communication both internally and externally to tool reps, vendors, etc. 
• Working with cross functional teams to identify and solve problems.
• Data entry of Tooling Engineering information, tracking, life analysis within Excel
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel & Outlook)
• Ability to create and track purchase orders with outside vendors.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, or move about the facility and between buildings.
• Hand dexterity and use of eyes for visual inspection purposes
• Continuous improvement opportunities for cost savings and tool life
• Track monthly cost data/expenses and communicate with Purchasing Manager and/or Plant Manager
• Work directly with supervisors and operators throughout the facility in a professional, respectful manner
• Attendance is critical due to the nature of the role and level of support required by other departments.
