Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage. Being a Tool Crib Attendant keeps an inventory of tools by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database or other system. Orders new tools and equipment or repairs tools as needed. Additionally, Tool Crib Attendant has training and experience in an industrial environment with familiarity of heavy machinery and tools. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Tool Crib Attendant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Hunting, Dearborn Division is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, Tool Crib Technician to join our team in Fryeburg, ME. The Tool Crib Technician will work with the area supervisor to coordinate and accomplish the tasks related to department level production tooling. The technician will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of inventory, including, but not limited to purchasing, organizing, maintaining accurate inventory counts, interfacing with vendors, planning future tool inventory in support of production schedule and working to resolve tooling performance or availability challenges. Effective verbal and written communication are essential skills. We desire a solid foundation in high school math and the ability to efficiently problem solve.
