  • This position is 100% in-office/on-site at the Las Vegas, Nevada branch. JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibility is to perform tasks related to settlement operations in the closing of real estate transactions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, mortgage, accounting and other areas within the Title & Escrow Process Handle all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verify accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreement Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all documents executed as needed, and facilitate questions/answers between parties to the transaction Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines which includes and not limited to collection and disbursement of funds while complying with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policy Ensure timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from settlement team to Recording and Accounting Departments Correct and resolve any post-closing issues that arise Perform other duties as assigned SCOPE: Decision Impact: Dept. OneNote and SoftPro is a plus Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of objectives Salary Range: $24.95 to $31.20 hourly depending upon experience.
