JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION WAREHOUSE WORKER – UNION POSITION

Harrington Pepsi of Butte is currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Loader in our Butte, MT warehouse. Position works in a team environment during the day. This position mainly involves loading and unloading semi-trucks using an electric forklift. You will also be required to sort and repair wooden pallets, fill carbon dioxide cylinders, and perform other tasks as assigned.

The work of a warehouseman requires regular lifting, carrying, pulling and/or moving on hand trucks, delivery carts, and pallets while working the warehouse floor. Forklift experience a plus, but not required, we can train and certify. In addition, the warehouseman position requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, and bending when loading and unloading products. We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals with a strong work ethic, good people skills, and the ability and ambition to move up.

SALARY: Starting at $15.00 per hour DOE

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Load/unload transports.
• Process receipt paperwork accurately.
• Sort and repair pallets in an effective and efficient manner.
• Fill carbon dioxide cylinders.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery pick- up according to schedule
• Following inventory controls and upholding high quality standards. Report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet most of the day
• Good written and verbal skills and basic math skills required
• Will request applicant to successfully pass drug test, background check and functional abilities test.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous warehouse experience especially in the beverage industry.
• Fork Lift Certification
