Warehouse workers perform an array of functions that might include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Warehouses are fast-paced and work around pickups from LTL and truck load carriers, and also customer pickups. In addition, to pickups, product deliveries from suppliers and vendors will have to be received, inventoried and put in proper storage locations.
Workers are required to lift from 45 pounds to a maximum of 75 pounds on a regular basis, walk or stand for most of the shift, wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes.
High school diploma or GED required
At least one year of warehouse experience is required
