Primary Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the daily schedule with the Office Coordinator to ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and delivery of goods and materials
2. Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse space needs and productivity, including a daily inspection of warehouse grounds
3. Provide direction to warehouse staff on daily activities and fill in as needed to complete tasks
4. Lead training for new warehouse employees and company initiatives
5. Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare any necessary documentation
6. Coordinate lift truck fleet and equipment needs and ensure basis maintenance activities are completed within health and safety regulations
7. Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels for operating supplies
8. Backup the Office Coordinator role and Warehouse Associates as needed
9. Follow established company work rules, safety policies, procedures, and objectives
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
Qualification Preferences
· Previous experience as a supervisor or a similar management position a plus
· Demonstrated track record of solid attendance and dependability
· High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor or associates degree a plus
· Desire to work on the floor and in the office to help the team
· Use of Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Time management skills and the ability to delegate
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
