Tire Warehouse Manager jobs in Tennessee
Tire Warehouse Manager manages all warehouse activities, ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of tires and other automotive parts coming through the warehouse. Also ensures that orders are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Being a Tire Warehouse Manager requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Tire Warehouse Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. POSITION SUMMARY: Fill orders accurately for daily loading & unloading shipments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to operate a sit down forklift and squeeze clamp forklift as needed to perform daily tasks.
- Pull and pre-stage orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trailer ensuring accuracy of freight.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
- Assemble and repair racks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma (GED)
Experience: One (1) year experience in warehousing in the tire industry.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for up to eight hours a day
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
