Job Summary
• Properly installs tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing tires, servicing TPMS systems
• Repair tires when necessary
• Oil Changes
• Light maintenance on vehicles such as air filter and light bulb replacement
• Provides knowledgeable information to service advisors
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilizes tire bay equipment.
• Ensures that all information is correct on work orders and documentation of service preformed is completed for sales team
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
• Keep shop in clean, working order.
• Assist other Technicians as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and personal cleanliness
Pay Based on Experiance
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, associates and management
- Ability to use automotive tools including impact gun and sockets, standard/metric wrench and socket set, screwdriver, and oil filter tools
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/ carry up to 60 pounds, and push / pull up to 60 pounds up to 2/3 of the workday.
- Must also have the ability to lift/carry over 60 pounds and push/pull over 60 pounds up to 1/3 of the workday.
- Preferred Experience:
- Automotive courses in High School or Vocational Tech training
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Preferred certification UTI, NASCAR or ASE certification
