Our Commercial Sales Advisor is the primary point of contact for retail and commercial customers. They will not only provide stellar customer service over the phone and at the front counter, but will also serve as the liaison with the service teams ensuring proactive communication and understanding. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PLT, agricultural and OTR and commercial truck tires. Experience with commercial fleet tire maintenance programs and national accounts a definite plus.

Requirements

General job duties include:

• Answer phone calls and serve customers at the service counter
• Assist in scheduling work, answering questions and advising work orders within established guidelines
• Start work orders, enter technician notes and parts on orders, review for accuracy and approval before finalizing
• Planning and coordinating onsite service calls with service technicians
• Communicate with customers on additional needs and obtains necessary approval
• Process national account billing in a timely, accurate manner; follow up on open items
• General understanding of technical terms, and knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in tire replacement 
• Assist customers with picking up, dropping off, loading and unloading equipment
• Coordinate transportation for equipment coming and going between the shop, parts houses and customer sites 
• Work with delivery drivers and third party vendors to ensure timely pickup & delivery
• Assist in coordinating special promotions and other departmental events
• Support onsite and mobile teams as needed and as trained

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• 3 years of related commercial advisor experience, with 2 years retail experience preferred
• Proficiency using computers/POS system 
• Effective communication with customers and team members working toward building long-term relationships based on trust and integrity
• Ability to plan and prioritize work efficiently while upholding excellent quality standards.
• Superior customer service skills
• Clean driver’s record and valid driver’s license
