Tire Warehouse Manager manages all warehouse activities, ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of tires and other automotive parts coming through the warehouse. Also ensures that orders are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Being a Tire Warehouse Manager requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Tire Warehouse Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. - Utilize AS400 system for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and materials procurement.
- Familiarity with fleet management and dispatching procedures.
- Proficient in using AS400 system for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
