Tire Warehouse Manager manages all warehouse activities, ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of tires and other automotive parts coming through the warehouse. Also ensures that orders are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Being a Tire Warehouse Manager requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Tire Warehouse Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. - Ensure implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures
- Attract, hire, train, develop, evaluate and retain store employees
- Exercise strong, fair, and consistent leadership with all employees
- Delegate authority and subsequent ownership of functions as appropriate
- Build and maintain a team effort consistent with the goals of the company
- Assist and perform other duties of absent employees as necessary
- Protect company assets, cash, inventory, equipment, systems and documents
- Adhere to state, local and federal laws
- Maintain a drug-free workplace
- Perform inventory control
- Maintain store security
- Merchandising and display

General Manager Qualifications:- Associates Degree or comparable experience
- Minimum 2 years of previous management experience
- Strong retail sales experience
- Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at one time
- Valid In state motor vehicle license
- Ability to work Saturdays
- A.S.E. Certifications 4 and 5 preferred but not required
