Tire Warehouse Manager manages all warehouse activities, ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of tires and other automotive parts coming through the warehouse. Also ensures that orders are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. Being a Tire Warehouse Manager requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Tire Warehouse Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. What our Warehouse Associates do:- Loading and unloading vehicles with or without the use of a forklift (depending on the size of the load and the type of vehicle we are loading/unloading).
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts in our warehouse by keeping our products sorted and organized appropriately in the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for a Warehouse Associate:- Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Prior warehousing experience and forklift experience are preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift 50-120 lbs.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
