Test Engineering Supervisor supervises the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of testing procedures and strategies for products, systems, components, or modifications. Oversees the identification of functional problems and leads the analysis, and interpretation of test results. Being a Test Engineering Supervisor oversees the documentation, definition and maintenance of internal quality control standards and reliability programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Test Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Test Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Description and Requirements
Test and Validation Engineering, Manager
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers responsible for post-silicon electrical validation and debug on mixed-signal PCIe SerDes IP
- Oversee the development of evaluation scripts, validating circuit block behavior, evaluating results, and debugging issues in an R&D test lab environment
- Manage schedules and resources to ensure timely and efficient execution of validation activities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop test plans and analysis
Requirements:- B.S./M.S. Electrical/Computer Engineering
- 8 years of experience in silicon validation of high speed SerDes
- Experience with script-based test automation and strong scripting skills in general
- Hands on debug experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, BERTs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers
- Leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with issue and task tracking through Jira/Confluence/Kanban
- Experience with software version control systems such as Perforce
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $136,000 to $204,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
