Test Engineering Supervisor supervises the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of testing procedures and strategies for products, systems, components, or modifications. Oversees the identification of functional problems and leads the analysis, and interpretation of test results. Being a Test Engineering Supervisor oversees the documentation, definition and maintenance of internal quality control standards and reliability programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Test Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Test Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Details
We are seeking an SQA Test Engineer to work on robotic and automation solutions.
This is a fully onsite position based in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:- This role will be 85% manual testing and 15% automation.
- Will be testing on physical hardware so the ideal candidate will have experience testing physical product (This is NOT a web-based role)
- Execute test plans and test cases on both simulated and physical robotics systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct release testing before new features are delivered to production.
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of experience in software and physical device testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in testing methodologies, including test plan and test case development.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems (i.e. Jira) and test case management systems (i.e. TestRail)
- Practical experience with Linux environment
- Agile Environment
- Some scripting or programming (ideally Python or Bash)
- Strong communication and documentation experience
