Test Engineering Supervisor jobs in Leominster, MA
Test Engineering Supervisor supervises the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of testing procedures and strategies for products, systems, components, or modifications. Oversees the identification of functional problems and leads the analysis, and interpretation of test results. Being a Test Engineering Supervisor oversees the documentation, definition and maintenance of internal quality control standards and reliability programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Test Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Test Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Position Duties:
- Must have strong mechanical background.
- Able and willing to work in a heavy duty/industrial machine shop environment.
- Work effectively as a part of the Engineering team to manufacture, assemble, and test various machines and test articles.
- Lead and complete assigned tasks and projects to meet customer requirements.
- Resolve issues, report observations, and results to customers and engineers with high degree of quality and professionalism.
- Keep test facility and operational areas in order, maintain equipment, and work area in compliance with 5S protocol.
- Prepare and store necessary test documents in AS9100 standard.
