Test Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of testing procedures and strategies for products, systems, components, or modifications. Acts as advisor to test engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and acts as a liaison to other engineering functions. Being a Test Engineering Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Test Engineering Manager typically reports to a unit/department head. The Test Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. - Collaborate with the engineering team to develop test plans
- Write test procedures, test specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electro-mechanical assemblies

- Maintain accurate documentation of test results and findings
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
Background:
- BS degree in engineering required, BSEE preferred
- Strong engineering background and understanding of engineering principles
- Previous experience with Labview and Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
