Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pump Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring that our pumps and package systems not only meet but exceed specification requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring a meticulous attention to detail, a passion for quality, and a deep understanding of hydraulic and mechanical pump design to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design test arrangements and setups for pump performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and safety standards.
• Provide comprehensive engineering calculations to certify pump specifications and hydraulic characteristics.
• Maintain quality, calibration, and uncertainty of test instrumentation within specified intervals and standards.
• Analyze test data to identify performance irregularities or failures and propose hydraulic and mechanical modifications for product improvement.
• Develop quality pump curves using the analyzed test data.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to enhance understanding of pump applications and manufacturing processes.
• Drive initiatives to standardize production assembly, data collection, testing methods, and hydraulic testing protocols globally.
• Develop and manage an automated test facility project to reduce test and setup times.
• Ensure all products and procedures meet ISO, HI, and other relevant standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of practical industry experience, with at least 5 years in turbomachinery laboratory testing.
• Proven expertise in centrifugal pump design, troubleshooting production level non-conformance issues, and familiarity with large centrifugal pumps in various market segments.
• Strong knowledge of 2D CAD design, 3D modeling, fluid dynamics, mechanics of materials, and modern manufacturing techniques.
• Extensive understanding of industry standards, testing methodologies, production methods, and inspection methods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated capability in managing multiple complex projects and technical specialists.
