Our
Defense/Aerospace client is looking to fill a
Test System Hardware/Software Engineer (Secret Clearance) position that just opened in
Middletown, Rhode Island. In this role you’ll be a member of a cross functional team and responsible for the design, implementation, assembly and integration of test systems to support test and evaluation of custom electro-mechanical equipment. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience. You must also be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance.

Pay Rate: $52.95/hour
Duration: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Test System Hardware/Software engineer, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team and responsible for the design, implementation, assembly and integration of test systems to support test and evaluation of custom electro-mechanical equipment.

- Expertise in digital and analog acquisition hardware (e.g. National Instruments products), power supplies, function generators, and sensors such as current meters, accelerometers
- Software architecting; software coding in the LabWindows/CVI development environment; developing software to control COTS test equipment; and signal processing via COTS libraries

Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
