Coordinates loading, unloading, monitoring, and maintenance activities. Being a Terminal Manager - Large ensures delivery schedules are met and communicates changes or delays to shippers and customers. Implements all required safety policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure secure and safe operations. Additionally, Terminal Manager - Large prepares and reviews reports related to shipments and inventory. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Terminal Manager - Large supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. Position summary:
Under the direction of the home office, the terminal manager is responsible for the supervision of all operations in the assigned terminal. Management authority will extend to all aspects of school bus and motor coach in that terminal, i.e. staffing, customer service, and maintenance. This position will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of actions to maximize the terminals financial viability, safe image, and position in the market place and customer satisfaction.
