Coordinates loading, unloading, monitoring, and maintenance activities. Being a Terminal Manager - Large ensures delivery schedules are met and communicates changes or delays to shippers and customers. Implements all required safety policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure secure and safe operations. Additionally, Terminal Manager - Large prepares and reviews reports related to shipments and inventory. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Terminal Manager - Large supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Terminal Manager - Large typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
