Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Terminal Manager - Large typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     FLSA Status: Salary Exempt 


    About the Company and Position: Repauno Port and Rail Terminal, a Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure company (FTAI – NYSE), has an immediate opening for a Terminal Manager. Repauno Port and Rail Terminal is a state-of-the-art LPG export facility located in Gibbstown, New Jersey.     Position Summary:  The successful candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and adapts easily to rapid change. This role will ultimately be responsible for the successful execution of the terminal operation and for meeting all operational and financial goals, while keeping in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Additionally, this individual will work closely with other members of the senior management team to analyze operational efficiencies and performance versus budget.

      

    Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

    • Serve as Company representative and principal contact on all marine and land-based field operations. 
    • Successfully execute the organization's mission to provide a safe and efficient operation.
    • Exemplify and lead a corporate culture that puts the health and safety of employees first, while promoting environmental stewardship.
    • Demonstrate a personal commitment to positive customer service.
    • Review project proposals and plans to help determine timeframe, staffing requirements, and procedures to accomplish the work.
    • Identify staffing requirements and arrange for the recruitment of operations personnel.
    • Provide input into the operating budget and evaluate budgetary issues in coordination with management.
    • Monitor the delivery and accuracy of procured product/materials to ensure the availability of resources for operations.
    • Ensure established costs, quality, and delivery commitments comply with company and customer requirements.
    • Ensure personnel comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct contract compliance reviews and implement corrective actions as required.
    • Prepare operational reports for management and customer review.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to field personnel.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.  

    Required Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities:  

    • Must be at least 18 years of age, and legally authorized to work in United States.
    • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
    • Must have a pre-employment drug screen and pass background check. 
    • Ability to obtain a TWIC card is required.
    • College degree with a minimum of ten years of experience required (a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the maritime and oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years of dock operational experience in a supervisory position.
    • Experience working with hazardous materials (LPG is a plus).
    • Proven track record for effective team management and results-driven leadership.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, make decisions, follow instructions, adapt to changing situations, and possess strong safety values adhering to all terminal, federal, state, and local safety practices.
    • Facility Security Officer qualified.
    • Maintain a 24-hour HAZWOPER Certificate or can quickly obtain.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Strong organizational and communications skills.    

    Physical requirements:  

    • Ability to sit and use a computer for long periods of time.
    • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally to move objects.
    • Ability to bend and stoop in order to file documents into filing cabinets.
