Teller
First Dakota National Bank is hiring a full-time Teller to join our Sioux Falls Louise team. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and good work ethic. Candidate must support and engage in First Dakota’s culture for exceptional customer service. Has the ability to process a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently. The candidate must have the capability to maintain strict confidentiality, attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures. The ability to effectively communicate with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment is essential. Hours include Monday-Friday 8:40-5:40.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives checks and cash for deposit
- Cash checks and pays money from customer’s account
- Promotes and cross-sells other banking products and services as appropriate to customer’s needs
- Provides ongoing relationship servicing with customers to maintain goodwill
- Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, ATM and night depository
- Responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding account or additional services
- Informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account or service, and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity
- Attendance - regularly designation work shift required
Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Language Ability:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software
