Field Technician - Cellular Telecommunications

All Electrical Services is searching for a Field Technician with some relevant experience in construction, electrical work, and/or mechanical work to perform civil construction and telco equipment installs and upgrades. Telecom experience is preferred but not required. Our company is located in Kenner, LA and requires weekly travel via company vehicles throughout the Gulf Coast (LA, MS, AL, and the Panhandle of FL) but will be home most weekends. Opportunities for overtime are frequently available. We also pay out a Per Diem for food and hotels for out-of-town work.

We strongly prefer a candidate who is eager to learn the many various aspects of civil telecom construction. We do require all candidates to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record/MVR.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required – NO EXCEPTIONS
• Must be 21 per our insurance requirements
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 350 miles from New Orleans for days at a time (will be home most weekends)
• 1 yr experience in construction, electrical work, and/or mechanical work
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record (24 months of no wrecks/violations)
• Able to follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for job sites in a safe manner
• Must be able to track and communicate daily production and materials
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, interpret stakeholders’ needs, and identify solutions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs without assistance
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecom construction experience is a plus
• Class D/Chauffeur's License preferred
• Current OSHA 10 or 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications
