Telecommunications Technician maintains an organization's telecommunications network to ensure dependable operation. Monitors network systems and performs diagnostic tests to document and report performance levels. Being a Telecommunications Technician conducts routine checks and preventative maintenance to minimize malfunctions and downtime. Troubleshoots telecommunication issues and performs or coordinates repairs. Additionally, Telecommunications Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Telecommunications Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Field Technician - Cellular Telecommunications
All Electrical Services is searching for a Field Technician with some relevant experience in construction, electrical work, and/or mechanical work to perform civil construction and telco equipment installs and upgrades. Telecom experience is preferred but not required. Our company is located in Kenner, LA and requires weekly travel via company vehicles throughout the Gulf Coast (LA, MS, AL, and the Panhandle of FL) but will be home most weekends. Opportunities for overtime are frequently available. We also pay out a Per Diem for food and hotels for out-of-town work.
We strongly prefer a candidate who is eager to learn the many various aspects of civil telecom construction. We do require all candidates to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record/MVR.
