CVT is seeking a Journeyman Telecommunication Technician to maintain, install, replace, and repair customer premise equipment and all types of cable facilities. If you have experience with fiber splicing, cutting terminals for new construction, troubleshooting and maintaining Central Office switching systems, and performing acceptance testing, this position could be a great fit! The ideal candidate would have over four years (8,000 hours) of experience working with OSP facilities, experience with necessary tools and work equipment (as detailed in the job description) and be able to work in varying and often extreme climactic conditions.
This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position. If the above experience applies, the starting wage is $51.52 per hour.
