May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. We are seeking a skilled individual located south of the Seattle area, positioned between Auburn and Olympia WA. As the initial point of contact in the Telecommunications engineering process, the Field Technician plays a pivotal role. Their primary responsibility involves verifying and optimizing cost-effective routing for cable and fiber construction, encompassing both aerial and underground pathways. Field Technicians undertake precise measurements between designated points, strategically determine the placement of underground facilities, and conduct thorough inspections of utility poles for aerial routing. They are also tasked with identifying necessary make-readies for the attachment of new cable and fiber infrastructure in conjunction with NESC Requirements. In alignment with these responsibilities, the Field Technician will document their findings, utilizing various tools and applications provided by ADP-Resources.
