G.R. Osterland is actively hiring multiple experienced Telecommunication Lineman in the Cleveland area.

Preferred Experience: Fiber Cable Installation, Copper Cable Installation, Cable Relocation, Underground & Aerial Cable Removal, New Pole Placement, Pole Removal, Conduit Repair/Installation, Telco Cabinet/ Pedestal Installation, Forestry & Arborist Services and 24-Hour Emergency & Storm Damage Response

Responsibilities and Duties

Preferred experience and knowledge in Aerial, Underground and Buried construction

Ability to load and unload materials and equipment

Ability to climb utility poles

Value a safe work environment

Ability to work outdoors and handle steady physical work activity

Attentive to safety and efficiency procedures

Qualifications and Skills

Class A or B CDL required

Be aware this job is year round, outdoors, in all weather conditions

Clean DMV and Drug Screening required for employment

Must have reliable transportation

• Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Climbing: agility to ascend or descend poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
• Subject to outside environmental conditions

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
