Lantech Communications, LLC is a leading construction and utility installation service provider with the head office located in Bensenville, IL. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Vendor Manager to join our incredible team, and to support our growth by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified vendors within the splicing and construction industry. ✨

• Position type: full-time, contract; may be in-house (if you can commute to our office) or fully remote.
• Work hours: 8.00 a.m. — 4.00 p.m. or flexible schedule (40 h/wk), Monday through Friday.
• Additional: 7 days of paid vacation 7 days of paid leave.

As a Vendor Manager you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a network of qualified vendors to support our telecommunication projects. This job position requires a deep understanding of the splicing and construction industry, as well as strong recruitment and negotiation skills. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to identify project requirements and source vendors who can deliver high-quality services within established timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in vendor management, recruitment, or sourcing within the telecommunication industry.
• Strong understanding of splicing and construction processes and technologies.
• Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Integrity and ethical conduct.

Languages:

• English (C1 or higher);
• Spanish (A2 or higher) is desirable, but not required.
