  • A post-secondary educational institution in Pendleton, OR is seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to join their team! They are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in accounting/finance with a focus on construction and other school related budgets.     Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000 DOE

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage budget processes and collaborate with department managers to optimize spending
    • Prepare revenue/expenditure analyses and ad-hoc financial reports
    • Oversee college contracts with vendors and external organizations
    • Monitor general operations budget expenditures
    • Coordinate asset management and disposition of excess property
    • Serve as a liaison between CFO, department managers, and external parties
    • Perform special studies, analyses, and assist with project work as needed

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
    • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and macros
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
    • Availability for extra hours during peak times
    • Familiarity with computer systems and software applications is preferred
    • Experience in construction, procurement, contract, and budget management is preferred
