Technology Research Manager leads research and evaluation of emerging trends in the information technology field to determine their worth to the organization. Designs and oversees staff education on the use of new technology. Under general direction, manages, plans, and coordinates the activities of the assigned IT business unit; researches and analyzes trends in technology, provides solutions to address technology and business needs, and manages staff and financial resources.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or closely related field.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT management, staff development, organizational budgeting, personnel management, and/or related field(s). An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.
