    This Opportunity

    Due to our success, we are seeking an experienced and talented professional to join our team and fill the role of Program Manager located at our offices in Louisville, Colorado. This position will manage all aspects of multiple projects including cost, scheduling, and performance, and will be primarily responsible for formulating schedules, requirements, resource allocations, and management structures for successful delivery on technical programs (aerospace, spacecraft / operational platforms, payloads, sensors, etc.). Applicants must have a passion for innovation and ability to work in a collaborative environment while rapidly delivering on individual tasks.

     

    Your Impact

    Program Management (95%)

    • 3 years of experience in Aerospace industry, preferably in a PM role
    • 2 years of experience as a Program Manager
    • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
    • Experience managing Aerospace program that exceeds $20M
    • Experience managing a portfolio of projects and programs, relative to the triple constraints
    • Intimate knowledge and demonstrated successful execution of project management best practices
    • Experience managing technical resources with competing priorities
    • Experience managing complex project schedules
    • Experience managing resource forecasts, program financials, and burn charts
    • Demonstrated initiative in performing job tasks
    • Problem-solving skills leading to sound judgment and quality decisions
    • Perform requirements definition and flow down from furnished requirements to lower-level requirements
    • Create and track compliance matrices to ensure final product designs meet all requirements
    • Lead integrated design team to generate design and deliverable packages
    • Collaborate with AI&T team to create and validate assembly and test procedures for use on developmental and flight hardware
    • Lead engineering teams to ensure collaboration and coordination between all engineering disciplines
    • Lead internal and external customer design reviews
    • Successfully delivering high quality products and services
    • Supporting operational cadence with other operational units
    • Influence development and maturing of the PMO

     

    Business Development (5%)

    • Assist in Business Development activities such as writing proposals and conceptual design in collaboration with industry partners  

     

    Qualifications

     

    Required

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering Management, or related technical field
    • 6 years’ experience (each higher-level degree may substitute for two years of experience)
    • Ability to manage multiple programs and ensure timely delivery
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Project
    • Understanding of multiple engineering discipline fields
    • Earned Value (EV) analysis and scheduled variance reporting
    • Proposal Management experience including familiarity with government requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with demanding customers, difficult schedules, and technically challenging projects
    • Engage with customers on proposal work, contracts, reviews, and technical performance
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance

     

     Preferred

    • PMP Certification strongly preferred
    • Space-based system level design experience, small spacecraft technology development
    • Understanding of electronics, mechanical assemblies, or RFcomponents and systems
