    We are seeking a Safety Field Inspector (CMT Special Inspector 3) to join our Idaho Falls, ID team! Come join us!

    The Successful Safety Field Inspector will promote the Atlas Core Values (Life, Heart, Mastery, Trust) while having a BSCP certification as CSP or GSP, bachelor’s degree (safety related major) and a minimum of 2 years construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Safety related duties will account for 50-75% of the job; 50%-25% will be ACI Field Technician tasks.

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    The candidate will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform the role in a safe, productive, and effective manner.     Assists in Atlas-Behavior Based Safety by being a Safety Resource.

    Assists in Compliance with all Atlas and Project Safety programs.

    Ensures a Safe Work Environment.

    Participates in Training/Certifications/Competent Person programs.

    Work outdoors in typical Idaho weather conditions.

    Project safety training, metrics, and reporting.

    May be required to work different shift rotations depending on the construction production schedule.

    Candidate will be required to pursue ACI-Field Technician certification following employment.

    Required to complete/submit field reports.

    Minimum Requirements:
    Must be US Citizen, No dual citizenship - Required by client.

    Read/Write English as primary language.

    BSCP certification as CSP or GSP.

    Bachelor's Degree (safety related major) and a minimum of 2 years construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Must be able to lift 50lb, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors.

    Valid driving license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, and the ability to pass a drug test required.

    Must have a professional work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

    Communicate both orally and in writing, and work in a cooperative and courteous manner with the public, contractors, supervisors, and other department staff.

    Technical Requirements:
    3 years of Construction experience preferred

    Candidate will be required have a minimum of ACI-Field Testing Technician (ACI-FTT) certification within 90 days of employment.

    Depending on client production schedule, may be required to support shift rotation (days/swings).

    Strong math skills and general computer skills.
