True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Writing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Managed project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Identified and mitigated risks, adapted to changing circumstances, and implemented different actions when needed.
2. Strong organizational and time management skills
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and stay organized.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing (program guidelines, procedures, training documents, etc.).
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work effectively on self-directed projects and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Collect and interpret data to inform decision-making.
Think critically and strategically to achieve project goals.
6. Technical Proficiency
Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
Ability to write Program Manuals
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
