Objective of this Role
- Develop and maintain software manual/guides, including written materials and short videos.
- Gain an understanding of Baytek’s software products with the goal of translating complex information into simple, engaging content.
- Create content that is versatile, when necessary collaborating across company departments, including marketing and customer relations teams.
- Produce consistent quality, improving the standards of documentation that currently exist.
- Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand software functionality.
- Work with development teams and client relations to determine the end user's needs.
- Function as a mediator of information and communication, taking into consideration the differing roles collaborating in a single product or service.
- Develop content in various forms incorporating written documentation, wikis, videos, etc., while maintaining consistency of brand, quality, and usability.
- Support a standardize structure for the content.
- Direct communication and collaboration with various teams, including but not limited to the Development, Design, and QA departments.
- Work closely with the QA team to use new software products, conduct testing, and create documentation for them.
- Document software bugs, errors, and issues of any kind, and report them to the QA team.
