Opportunity

KOHLER is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our team.

This position has responsibility for researching, writing, editing, and maintaining Technical Documentation (operation and maintenance manuals, installation manuals, service and repair manuals, specification sheets), in compliance with legal obligations and internal or external requirements. This position also involves responsibility for improving documentation workflows and content to promote documentation efficiency, innovation, quality of work, and further supports publication of product documentations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Writing, editing, and maintaining Technical Documentation (operation and maintenance manuals, installation manuals, service and repair manuals, specification sheets) for KOHLER Home Energy, in compliance with legal obligations and internal or external requirements,
• Participating and contributing to publication activities from estimation, planning and scheduling through to product development,
• Improving the depth and quality of the publications based on feedback from internal and external customers,
• Support the digitalization process, increase customer’s delight with the use of illustrations, graphics, rendering animations or videos into KOHLER Home Energy publications,
• Working on DITA standard and structured content strategy to increase content reuse for KOHLER Home Energy technical publications.
