Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position: Career Technical Training Instructor Substitute

    Facility: Tulsa Job Corps Center 

    Location:Tulsa, Ok 

    Work schedule:On-Call

    Job responsibilities:  Instructors are responsible for the academic and career technical trade instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic and trade goals. 

    Essential functions:

    1. Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction. 
    2. Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits. 
    3. Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction. 
    4. Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials. 
    5. Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment. 
    6. Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems. 

    Education and Experience Requirements: 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and certification in area of instruction.
    • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
