Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The position: We're looking for an experienced account manager with extensive work-history managing a retail account. This is a client-facing position where you'll need to be able to present proposals to our customers. You'll drive successful programs (seasonal products in store) between ourselves as a supplier, and the largest box stores in the world. You"ll help entrench our relationship with buyers, and understand the customer"s end goals, and what differentiates them in the market. You'll ensure all costing and program propositions are thought out - and well researched/analyzed.

    You will be responsible for the completion of these tasks:
    • Plan and quote profitable programs tailored to the customer needs for both online and in-line. Built via excel, using quantitative analysis.
    • Understand the customer"s goals and what differentiates them in the market
    • Create and present program proposals, including the new product introductions
    • Determine store allocations to ensure stores have enough product to grow
    • Ensure timely program setups and account administration, including accurate item agreements and setups, costing, and data
    • Coordinate a hand-off of programs to operations, including accurate and timely communication of customer buying decisions, volumes, timeline, and shipping parameters
    • Oversee in-season program performance and take corrective action as needed
    • Manage the customer P&L and generate sales and profit growth
    • Communicate progress through the company
    • Identify improvements for future seasons and work with product development and operations to implement solutions
    • Set up company in the new customer"s vendor portals and on-board the new customer into company's ERP system
    • Set up seasonal programs into the customer portal. Ensure all information matches the information set up in company's ERP system
    • Understand the customer"s vendor requirements and shipping procedures to ensure company ships as required and does not incur any penalties. Create and check shipping labels to match the purchase documents.
    • Review purchase orders and sales orders and ensure timely shipping and deliveries
    • Ensure that customer orders are shipped and that production facilities have the right information to process the orders.
