Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. This company offer end to end energy efficient solutions to customers spanning commercial, institutional and industrial clients, ranging from fortune 500 organizations and universities. Due to exciting investment and continual growth plans they are now seeking a heavy construction laborer to join their geothermal drilling department.
In this role you will work on cutting edge geothermal drilling projects across NYC and surrounding states, traveling to customer sites and carrying out heavy construction labor including assisting with innovative, market leading machinery and equipment. The company offer full renewables training, with the aim to progress you to a driller as soon as possible.
This opportunity would suit someone very familiar in a heavy construction setting looking to kickstart their renewables career in a company who invests in your growth and development.
The Position:
- Travel to customer sites and carry out heavy construction labour
- Mixing drilling mud and handle drill pipe and casing
- Must be comfortable with travel
- Full training and clear progression path

The Person:
- Must have experience in a heavy construction setting, including the operation of heavy machinery
- Must have an OSHA 30 and SST
- Ability to travel to the job sites
