Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our company is growing and actively looking to hire a Technical Project Manager.

    This position is responsible for managing Wilson Language Training's (WLT) technical projects and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will be a Salesforce power user and will have the ability and desire to support other technologies. They will also possess a deep understanding of project management methodologies and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Project planning and execution
      • Lead an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, within budget, and with accuracy and efficiency.
      • Develop comprehensive project plans to support new systems and ongoing maintenance, outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
    • Salesforce administration
      • Execute various Salesforce configurations such as Flows, validation rules, approval processes, fields, dashboards, and reports.
      • Gather requirements from users and stakeholders.
      • Monitor and improve user adoption, adhering to Salesforce best practices.
    • Stakeholder engagement
      • Act as a liaison between business users, the Technology team, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment of technical projects with business objectives.
    • Risk management
      • Monitor and report on project process; identify blockers and risks; develop mitigation strategies.
      • Proactively address issues that may impact the successful delivery of technical projects.
    • Quality Assurance
      • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
      • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Understand and display WLT's values.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Requirements

    Skills :
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager and understanding of Agile project management methodology.
    • Salesforce administration experience
    • Strong desire to learn and a passion for innovation.
    • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
    • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate Technology team insights and plans to cross-functional team members and Leadership.
    • Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills; attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    Education or Certification:
    • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Active Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
    • Project management certification preferred.

    Experience
    • 3 years of experience as a Project Manager required.
    • 2 years of Salesforce administration experience preferred.

    Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations.
