Job Title: Event Manager – (Full Time)

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL

Salary: $45,000 Incentives

Experience: At least 5 years’ experience as an Event Manager

Education: Associates or higher degree

Overall Description: Events are a crucial part of the LaMarr Civic Center’s identity. We’re looking for a skilled event manager to plan dynamic and engaging events to drive new business and strengthen our organization’s unique culture. The ideal candidate is meticulous and organized. They will be able to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption. Above all, they will bring a strong sense of our organization’s needs and how events fit into our broader communications strategy. Ensure each customer’s experience is an engaging and memorable event.

Objectives of this role

• Foster a fun and supportive organizational environment
• Plan for showing of civic center venue
• Customize engagement package for interested bookings
• Raise awareness of new products, drives, or initiatives through events
• Develop strong ties to sponsors, community, and customers
• Drive new business with compelling events
• Synthesize organizational messaging and identity
• Encourage event participation across all sectors of the organization

Responsibilities

• Dress in accordance with civic center attire requirements
• Plan and execute events for internal and external purposes
• Keep event plans under budget and on schedule
• Reach out to potential sponsors and collaborators
• Advertise events through multiple channels
• Maintain accurate records of all expenditures
• Ensure events are carried out successfully
