Additionally, Technical Trainer, Sr. administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an manager. The Technical Trainer, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We are launching new products, and are seeking an experienced, results-oriented TPM who will lead complex, cross-organizational initiatives.

    Depending on your experience, Sr. Technical Program Managers can typically expect to directly engage with developers and customers to address challenging problems, build software with the latest technologies and make data-driven decisions to improve the customer experience. Your responsibilities extend to scaling systems by managing internal and external stakeholders across various domains, from business and operations to engineering, science, and deployment. As a Senior TPM, you will navigate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make strategic tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints. The role also involves scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end, collecting requirements, writing specifications, and coordinating design/implementation efforts. Ideally, you possess a strong program management background, demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and a well-rounded technical proficiency in current web technologies.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - 5 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
    - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
    - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
