We have a client located in Blairsville PA seeking a 1st shift machinist Duties : Operate and maintain operation of CNC lathes, mills, and / or gear grinders as well as hand and power tools as required to perform job assignments.
Replace worn inserts, drills or tooling and adjust feed / speed rates.Complete work assignments and associated reports in a timely manner.
Verify machine components with measuring instruments to ensure parts are made within tolerances.Operate powered industrial forklift and crane hoist to transfer and position materials as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean and well organized work area.Shifts for positions are currently 1st shift, however, individual must be willing and able to work alternate shifts in the future.
